Decorators United is a headwear company based in Spokane, WA. We guide brands through custom headwear programs, make custom hats for businesses, teams and events, and sew contract headwear for screen printers and embroidery shops nationwide. For contract sewing, you ship blanks and patches to us, we sew and photograph the work, and we blind ship it to your client under your name and return address. You keep the client, the margin, and the relationship.
Custom hats start at 24 units. Contract sewing has no minimum, no setup fees, and no long-term contracts.
Who is behind it?
Decorators United was founded by Michael Thompson, who has spent over a decade in headwear production, including running a dedicated headwear department. Headwear is all we do, and every order gets hands-on attention.
The Mission
We are here to make your life easier.
Decorated apparel shops are built on craft, client relationships, and the ability to say yes. But hat patch jobs slow everyone down. Post bed sewing on headwear requires a specialized skill most shops do not have, do not want to staff for, and do not have time to figure out.
That is exactly what we do.
For decorators, we are your invisible headwear department. We handle the patch work, photograph the production, and blind ship to your client under your name and return address. They never know we touched it.
For brands, we are your headwear partner. We help you build a multi-hat product line, source premium blanks from major wholesalers, add your custom patches, and sew every hat ourselves, starting at 24 units.
