Flat embroidery
Stitched straight onto the crown. Clean and classic for small logos and text.
3D puff embroidery
Foam under the stitches lifts the logo off the hat. Best for bold, simple shapes.
Embroidered patch
Stitched as a patch, then sewn on. Works on hats that are hard to embroider directly, like beanies and rope hats.

Tips for an embroidered hat mockup
Keep it simple
Thin lines and tiny text close up when stitched. Aim for lines thicker than about 1 mm.
Limit colors
Embroidery reads best with a few solid thread colors, not gradients.
Check the size
Most front logos are 2 to 4 inches wide. The generator shows real inches.
Try a patch too
If the logo is detailed, compare it as a woven patch.

What is the minimum order for custom patch hats?
Custom patch hat orders start at 24 units. If you are a print or embroidery shop, contract hat sewing has no minimum.
How fast is the quote?
Quotes come back within 24 hours of you sending your hat style, patch, quantity and artwork. You do not pay to get a quote.
Where are the hats made?
Every hat is sewn at my shop in Spokane, WA. I ship anywhere, and local customers in Spokane and Coeur d'Alene can arrange drop-off with no freight.
